Coaching is a developmental activity that is based on trust and is established through developmental conversations. These activities seek to develop the client’s personal and professional competencies.

Non-directive coaching

This refers to when the coach refrains from giving any specific advice and relies solely on their ability to draw out the solutions from the client.
Coaches who go through coaching accreditation are encouraged to be purely non-directive, or they don’t pass their exams.

Sometimes we’re so lost, we can’t see what’s holding us back.Psychotherapists support you on that journey and, once found, help you manage or even overcome it completely. Coaches can be excellent problem-solvers, but their focus is more on helping you understand what you want in life and how to set and achieve goals.

When do you see a therapist/psychiatrist?
  • You have experienced trauma or past pain which you want to heal from (Psychologist)
  • You experience symptoms of mental health which cause you to stress (Psychiatrist)

    • Anxiety
  • You are in a struggling or problemed relationship and need couples counselling to work on it (Psychologist)
  • You continuously have negative emotions and you are looking for help (Psychologist/Psychiatrist)
  • A mentor, in simple words, is someone who offers their knowledge, experience, and advice to those who are less experienced. By increasing their mentees experience and skills, mentors steer the oriented in the right direction.
  • Your consultant will become an expert in your field, called for professional or technical advice or opinion. They can be used to understand your specific problem and provide a solution.
  • Coach: Someone who asks intelligent questions to encourage the coachee to come up with their own solutions wherever possible. Gently enabling them to stretch their boundaries and improve in the agreed area of work.
  • Therapy, at its core, is working on the psychological problems from their source and doing healing work. Essentially, in therapy you’re deeply examining the questions and solving them, so that you feel free to move forward.

Goal setting is a crucial aspect of coaching, as it helps the coachee to clarify their desired outcomes, measure their progress, and stay motivated.

But, you don’t need to have a clearly defined goal for a coaching collaboration.Â

During our first and second encounter, with appropriate coaching tools, with my support you will guide yourself through enhancing your awareness with aspects of your life that you’d like to improve.

Though there are no strict national laws when it comes to coaching, our advice is to always ask you coach about her&his credentials.Â

Certification programs provide a streamlined and structured learning path and contain a plethora of knowledge, insights, and tools shared by leading experts in the industry. Not only that but certification from a reputable organization shows clients that you have gone through training and that you meet high standards in coaching.Â

Academic coaching is an individualized instructional program designed to help students develop the skills and resources necessary for academic success. They provide guidance and accountability to help students stay focused and motivated while also helping students learn key Executive Function skills that will help them in their school work.

Nearly all students can benefit from academic coaching. Regardless of whether a student is struggling or doing well in the classroom, every child can learn new skills and strategies to help them grow and become more effective learners.
